What’s the deal with you?

Two meetings in twenty-four hours?

THE WAITRESS

Twenty-four hours for two lives. Or better three.

APOUK

What do you need?

A masked STRIPPER gets on a small stage and starts getting undressed in tune with the soundtrack.

THE WAITRESS

This time I’m looking for light.

APOUK

In what colour?

THE WAITRESS

The normal, dull one. They cut it out.

I’m asking for twenty-four hours of light. For one day… and one night.

Can you do that?

APOUK

What will I get in return?

THE WAITRESS

What do you want?

APOUK

I want you. For twenty-four hours.

THE WAITRESS

Deal.

They look at the girl dancing, now completely naked.

APOUK

But this time I will choose your part.
